Although I love the aroma of burning candles, I used to be concerned about their obvious fire hazards – particularly in the midst of infants, toddlers and preschoolers. That was before discovering battery-operated pillar candles, which are made of scented wax and oftentimes operate by remote control. Safe and convenient!
