Last Minute Christmas Dinner Centerpieces…Great for New Year’s Eve Too!

December 24, 2013

Wow!  Merry Christmas you all!  Are you needing a super FAST and pretty centerpiece for your festivities tomorrow or, for New Year’s?  No problem!  I whipped up four centerpieces in just 20 minutes this past weekend.  Each year, we welcome a few dear friends into our home to celebrate this BLESSED time of year and, these floral designs really helped add some Christmas cheer.  Simply go to your local grocery store and buy 3 oranges, 2 packages of cranberries, 2-3 hydrangeas and, 2 dozen white roses.  I picked the fresh spruce from our yard.  The white vases are from my local craft store or, easily found at your local big box discount chain.   Simply slice the oranges, add cranberries, greenery and cut flowers.  Use your creative side and, WAH LAH … FRESH AND PRETTY centerpieces.  For New Years parties….simply eliminate the greenery and the cranberries.

One EASY touch I added to a couple of these arrangements:   I spray painted sticks and twigs from my yard with silver spray paint.  Talk about NO COST!  Simply collect branches from around your yard ( a fun activity for your children to help with!).  Spray the branches well with silver spray paint and, allow to dry for several hours.  Add the branches to the middle of the floral arrangements for an extra “POP” of something interesting.

These centerpieces will last 5-6 days….so, make them and ENJOY!

Fa La La La La Ya’ll!

Our Savior is BORN!
